Mayan Hammock Massage
Elongates the Spine Creating Greater Flexibility and Range of Motion
|
Massage in a hammock is a gentle, calming, almost-floating experience. Some describe it as like being held in your mother's arms and lovingly rocked. The flexibility of the hammock encourages the body to open and become more flexible. The movement of the hammock encourages the body to greater and freer ranges of motion. And the soft rhythm of the hammock's sway encourages the body to return to its natural rhythms and balance. The massage can be entirely one of relaxation and stress relief or it can be effectively therapeutic for the entire body...or both at the same time.
Denis developed hammock massage therapy based upon ancient Mayan sobandero and curandeo techniques he learned in the Yucatan, Guatemala and Belize. He incorporated these methods with other massage and bodywork techniques he used on a daily basis. Denis later taught these techniques to the massage staff of a world-famous, deluxe hotel where their spa has made hammock massage their signature massage. This is the real deal and not the photo-op, "made-for-tourists" hammock massage offered elsewhere. |
